The Dutch Obedience Society Open Show Held on December 20th
Thank you to the committee for the invitation to judge at your open show and to Birgitte & Kirk for there hospitality and site seeing tours, you were first class.
Class C 17 Entries 16 Ran Ring Steward Hans Bilius
Score Board Leue Kasleleyn Decoy Stewards Kees & Ria Huige
A very big thank you to Hans for your excellent Stewarding and to Leue for giving your day up also thanks to Kees & Ria for decoying. The standard today was mind blowing, I have never judged a C with as many happy dogs in heel work with some very good handling, some were a little pushy which I like and several had an excellent heelwork position.
The results are has follows:
1ST Greet Vink with Sealight Boryck B/C Loosing 6.25. Good heelwork position, set exercises very good, if I had to be critical the heelwork position could do with a little tightening up on the turns, it was a very good round and best wishes for the future.
2nd Mia Bosschaart with Mamamias Tyke W/S Loosing 10.50. Sendaway and A.S.S.D. pickups were costly today, this was still a very good round and a pleasure to judge, all the best.
3rd Birgitte Gestel with Twice as nice Twizzle van Benvenidas Joy B/C Loosing 12.00. Heel work very good except for a slight hiccup on A.S.S.D, first class handling, good luck for the future.
4th Tiny Bouchaut with Kathmick W/S Loosing 17.50. Heelwork generally needs tightening up and set exercises polishing up, good luck for 2009.
5th Margreet Mijnsbergen with Fleur of the Charming Stead Loosing 23.50. Heelwork was a good standard the A.S.S.D. positions need looking into, best wishes for the future.
6th Trudy Groenenboom with Colliewood Crazylegs Guinness Loosing 24.25.Slow pace heelwork and fast pace were good, D.C. and normal pace was costly, if you take off your marks lost on these you would have been chasing the 1st place, good luck for the future.
7th Henneke Heideveld with Donna v. Fort oranje Mechelse Herder Loosing 33.25. Normal/Slow and Fast paces were really good, scent failure sent you down the line,
All the best for the future.
The following dogs I would like to mention:
Gwen Griffieon with Wyndawood Plymouth Road Runner Australian Shepherd, this was an excellent round, heel work to die for with a very professional handling, all the best for 2009.
Guus Scholten with Collie Wood Velazquez Giovanni W/S, good luck at crufts 2009 and from what I saw with you in training this team, you set yourself a very high standard, enjoy yourself it’s an achievement you have qualified.
