This class offered quite a challenge as there were no two dogs of the same breed, however, overall good quality of work from all those who entered.
1st.Jeannie & (Jeop)Yando Van’t Haskerhus(Hollandse Schapendoes) points lost 8.25.
Tight lead costing most of the points in HOL, then wide turns on Heel Free. Lovely Recall. Well done to you both
2nd.Jolanda & (Enrico)Enrico Van De Badmatte(Bernese Mountain Dog) points lost 12.25.
Tight lead again from this handler, dropping back on turns & very distracted, but as soon as the lead came off a different story altogether. Near perfect recall. Well done on your place
3rd.Linda & (Barney)Barney Van Demodderpoel(Golden Retriever) points lost 25.
Handler going the wrong way on stewards commands, tight lead yet again. Linda you were very nervous, but Barney knows his job, trust him & you will both do well in the future.
4th.Ellen & (Teuntje) Teuntje Van Het Kleinslag(Longhaired Dachshund) points lost 35.50.
Unfortunately Teuntje broke both sets of stays which accounted for 27 of the points lost. HOL was unbelievable for a little dog & would easily have been a worthy winner. Lagging in heel free taking most of the points.
Ellen get his stays sorted & you will both do well.

Another mixed class of an abundance of breeds, only two Border Collies entered.
1st. Jeanette & Uncourtly Jutter(Welsh Cardiganshire Corgi)points lost 3.25
Brilliant little dog, good set up(always a god sign). Sightly wide on about turns & little jumps back on lefts costing the points in heelwork Just .25 on retrieve & recall. Very smooth professional round from this team Worked early & set the standard fr the day. A pleasure to judge Dankuvel. Well done
2nd. Marrianne & Hot Chilli’s Yippe-A-Yee(Australian Cattle dog)points lost 6.
Drifting & lagging from this dog in both sets of heelwork & a costly very wide about turn/stop, slight deviation on the retrieve run out & another clear recall. Brilliant set exercises
3rd. Arlett & Ion. Laps Off Van Daelenbroek(Kerry Blue Terrier) points lost 8.25
Left turns accounting for most of the points, good set exercises yet again. Well done to you both on your place.
4th. Hiedi & Bonnieblue Godarcy(Border Collie) points lost 8.50
Left turns & lagging very expensive for this team. Fabulous recall.
5th. Angeline & Flow(Border Collie) points lost 10.50
Tight lead costly HOL & incomplete left turns heel free. Trained in Pre Beginners earlier in the day & this paid off for you. Well done
6th. Karin & Pronkjewil Van’t Loug Hoagy(Cavalier King Charles Spaniel) points lost 11.
Slow setting off, slow sit & stopping on a left turn, but otherwise good heelwork. Unfortunately dropped the dumbbell & stood on present. Keep up the good work.
7th. Inge & Thimba(Cross)lost 11
Was joint 2nd before stays, declined the run off for 6th. Heelwork very good, just slight faults. I am sure you will both do very well. Good luck for the future.
Class A
Ring Steward-Peter
Overall quality of work superior to the UK at the moment. Really enjoyed judging this class.
1st. Rineke & Tika. Jillaroo Uluru(Kelpie)points lost 3.75
Super team work, lovely attitude, no fuss set up. lost position on about turns & over turning lefts. Well deserved this win. Well done & good luck.
2nd. Krist & Jazz. It Up Van Benvendas Joy(Border Collie)
Slowing on turns taking most of your heelwork points. once again brilliant set exercises with clear recall & retrieve. Scent cost first place today. I understand you are out of A anyway. I’m sure you will both do well in B
3rd. Sandra & Akso(Border Collie)points lost 5
Slow return on retrieve, surge forward on recall pickup, dropping back in heelwork. Good positive attitude from dog & handler. Well done
4th Frank & Best Yazz of Clover Corner(Border Collie) points lost 5.50
Noisy recall & shot past on halt. Noisy again in heelwork & impeding. Clear retrieve. Well done on your place.
5th.Greet & Kyril Van Berlare(WSD)lost 6.75
Crooked set-up, slowing on right turns & stopped on AT. Hesitated on send out for retrieve, very nice scent.
6th. Henneke & Kiss of Magic Kayou(GSD)lost 7.50
Very good set exercises, heelwork damaging with slow sits, dropping back 7 noise again
7th. Jose & Saathi(BC)lost 9
Lovely full point retrieve, slowing down 7 dropping back on RT, incomplete LT & wide AT
Must mention Helen & Quiet-Kuma, The Swiss White Shepherd. Brilliant teamm heelwork to die for, attitude & precision, was easily leading this class, sadly blew out on scent, better luck next time
