Many thanks to the Dutch Obedience Society for the invitation to judge at one of their shows, it is always and honour and one I am grateful for. The commitment to the sport by this society is truly admirable, and the standard that they aspire to, is quite staggering.
Many thanks to Trudy, Angela and Karen for putting up with me and making for a truly enjoyable visit, I was treated fantastically from the moment I landed to the moment I left, thanks to you all for your kindness and hospitality. What a great bunch you are, and be warned.... the favour wil be returned when you come over to England!
I was asked to judge three classes this year, Pre-Beginners, Novice and C. The results were as follows:

Pre-Beginners results:
1st Magda Schmal with Indiana's Quick Queen v.d. Toetesteijn (Kooikerhondje)
A credible round, from a sweet dog encouraged by its handler throughout.... A very special win, and one to be savoured.
Good luck for many more.
2nd Jolanda ten Hoor with Enrico v.d. Badmatte Bermese Mountain Dog
A big dog, who found the heat just a bit too much.... however appeared a real character and plenty of room for progress. Good luck and all the best.

Novice Results:
1st Anne de Haan met Judy's Judy Shepherd's Dream (Border Collie)
A super round by this young lady and her little dog, very well handled with good timing and encouragement throughout. A real credit to you. Super attitude, and with the right schooling should progress up the classes with ease. Well done.
2nd Elly Kooyman met Round Robin Ghalib (Border Collie)
A very good round, by Elly and her handsome boy. Lots of potential to progress on, and i’m sure with the right motivation and building this dog could be really special. Good luck for the future.

3rd Rose Dewulf met Bekkis Yours Faithfully (Border Collie)
Well done Rose, a much improved pair who are starting to show their true potential. Keep doing what you’re doing, and progress is certain.

4th Karen Selhorst met Dyna van het Volgerland (Duitse Herder)
A super dog, with all the potential to be great... a little too much control, rather then constructive channelling would make all the difference. Good luck to you.

5th Henk Eekman met Britt Dara van't Olde Salland (Oudduitse Herder)
Well done on this place, a lovely team. Well done.

6th Gerda van Nuffel met Haibo Home of Boycaras (Border Collie)
Well done on your place. Won run off with below.

7th Karola Beckers met Daisy Dee Flower of Shamrock Field (Border Collie)
Well done.

C Results:
1st Danielle de Jonge met Mikey (Border Collie)
Once again, Danielle and Mikey gave a superb demonstration of obedience at its best…. Super set exercises, and smart clean handling allowed for any minor errors…. A polished performance by a brilliant team… all credit to you! Here’s hoping that elusive title isn’t too far away…

2nd Annelies van de Velde met Twinkle's Laddy Boy (Working Sheepdog)
Laddy was absolutely stunning, his heelwork was exemplary.... however costly DC meant too many marks to pull back against the above team... none the less, a super round and with work of this quality, lots of C wins are to be had!

3rd Mia Bosschaart met Mamamia's Tyke (Working Sheepdog)
Mia and Tykey once again gave a solid performance, and completed the test... A genuinely lovely dog with so much about him, and truly has given his all. Here’s hoping he can add being a ‘ticket’ dog, to his all ready long list of achievements!

4th Guus Scholten met Colliewood Velazquez Giovanni (Working Sheepdog)
Guus and Gio, are without doubt one of my favourite teams. Beautifully trained, and well handled... today Gio just bubbled over making silly errors... I’m sure nothing a few positive training rounds won’t amend, and allow for this super dog to gain his title...

5th Pleun van der Ster met Thisisblizz Albion's March (Border Collie)
Well done Pleun on this place against such string teams, lots of areas to strengthen and much improved overall... keep chipping away and a higher place will be your reward.

6th Ineke Happée met Bright She Shall Be v.d. Wilbam (Border Collie)
Well done on your place, all the best for the future.

7th Dona Vandenheule met Skippers Little Devil Son (Working Sheepdog)
Well done.
Finally thanks to my stewards and scoreboards, and all those involved in the DOS shows, for their time and efforts. Many thanks to you all.
