First I would like to thank Bev for asking me to accompany her to judge with her in Holland. Very many thanks to Rick and Jan for their hospitality and inviting us to stay with them during our stay.

The training center was superb; you are lucky to have such a large training area and working area. We were very well looked after, well fed and lots of drinks during the day.

Nice to see all the different breeds, in the UK the biggest majority is Border Collies. I was very impressed with the enthusiastic training and handling nice to see such happy dogs. Well done on the constructive and well thought out training rounds from some competitors. Thanks to Martine for her excellent stewarding. Also Karola for score boarding for me.

1st Karen Selhorst with DYNA VAN HET WOLGERLAND GSD lost 5 ½. HOL 1 ½ HF 2 REC 1 RET I.  A very nice high shepherd a bit of wide work to work on and the majority of the points will disappear. Well done on the win and good luck for the future.

2nd Christina Decuypere with JIPSINGER KAIPO. Australian Shepherd. Lost 6. HOL 2 HF2 ½ REC ½ RET 1 Again wide work cost the most points keep working on it you will soon get there. Well done.

3rd ( RUN OFF) Henk Eekman with BRITT DARA VAN`T OLDE SALLAND. GSD Lost 6 ½. HOL 2 ½ HF 3 ½ REC ½ . Sorry to keep repeating this but again wide work made the majority of points, still good to watch. Well done.

4th ( RUN OFF) Barjo Blom with BEST CLEVER-CATO OF CLOVER CORNER. BC Lost 6 ½.  HOL 3 HF 3 RET ½  Slightly different crabbing on heel work, crabbing is when the front end of the dog is close to the owner and the back end is out, often seen with enthusiastic dogs unfortunately loses points but looks very stylish. Well done on your place.

5TH ( RUN OFF) Heidi Demon with BONNIEBLEU GODARCY. BC Lost 6½.  HOL 3 HF 2 ½ REC 1. Lost position here and there on heel work but still had the enthusiasm. Well done.
6th (RUN off) Martin Brouwer with BEST JIMMY OF CLOVER CORNER.  BC Lost 6 ½.  HOL 2 HF 3 REC 1 RET ½ Just a bit off tiding up on heel work required but still well done on your place.

7th Carola van Tilburg with LUNA TALE GYHRO.  BC.  Lost 7 HOL 2 ½ HF 1 REC ½ RET 2 ½ STAYS ½ as above on heelwork keep it up.

Again very enthusiastic dogs, quite a lot of training rounds which I do not mind, the training rounds were very positive again, the attitude of the dogs to work was very happy to the degree where the accuracy suffered. Get that right and wow!!  As a consequence there were only three teams in contention that did stays but unfortunately they all lost marks at different times.
Thanks to Danielle for the superb stewarding and Meissa for score boarding

1st Martine Verhoeven with COMANCHERO OF THE TWO ROSES. Doberman.  Lost 20 ½. HW 14 RET 1 SA 4 SCENT 1 STAYS ½.  I do not think I’ve ever seen a Doberman work like this one on heel work, so keen and happy well done.

2nd Bianca van der Post with NICE OF YOU TO COME BYE EAGER WIZARD. B/C.  Lost 26. HW ½ RET 1 ½ SA 2 SCENT 1 STAYS 21. This dogs heel work was superb, I thought I was going to get a full point round. Again beautiful handling, a shame about the stays but well done on 2nd place.

3rd Timoty de Cleijin with BONO OF GERONIMO’S TRIBE. Munsterlander. Lost 60. HW 6 ½ RET 2 ½ SA 12 SCENT 20 STAYS 19 Again nice to see another breed working so well, Unfortunately on the initial round the send away was expensive well done on third place.
