Embleem Dos

Date: 20/02/10
Place: Bleiswijk
Class: Beginners & Class C
Judge: Stella Henstridge

My thanks to Lucie and the Dutch Obedience Society for the invitation to Sue and I to Judge. We were well looked after by Lucie and Benny in their very comfortable home and had an enjoyable weekend. The show was held inside at Bleiswijk with very spacious rings. There is always a very good atmosphere at the shows with all competitors appearing to enjoy the day and working their dogs. My thanks also to my stewards Ellen and Hans for Beginners and Hans, Leine and decoy Vicent for class C, only one dog found you interesting enough to pick up your cloth, An excellent job done by all. Good luck to Danielle de Jonge and Mikey who retired from competition today.

BEGINNERS

1ST ARLETT GEENEN with ION LAFS OFF v. DAELENBROEK, Kerry Blue Terrier. A very good round with few errors heel on lead. A little wide at times Heel free, even so very neat work. Slight crooked finish on recall and retrieve. Very well handled. Well done and congratulations on your win.

2ND GERDA v.d. PLUIJM with BOBBY, Berner Sennenhond. Put in a creditable round of heelwork just had a tendency to go wide at times. Lost quite a few marks in recall, as he didn’t think he had to present. Well done on your place.

3RD KLASS EEGDEMAN with HARRY ULURU, Australian Kelpie. Another good round with minor errors in heelwork. Unfortunately stays let you down today.

4TH CORINA MEIJER with ZAZOU, Border Collie. Needs tightening up in heelwork as it was loose at times especially on turns. Crooked presents and anticipation in retrieve also proved costly.

5TH CORINA MEIJER with SIL, Border Collie. Very similar faults as the above dog, but having two dogs in the line up can’t be bad.

6TH INGE v.d. HEUVEL with KAYA, Border Collie. Needs to tighten up in heelwork and had a messy recall and retrieve.

CLASS C

1ST BIRGITTE v. GESTEL with TWICE AS NICE TWIZZLE v. BENVENIDA’S JOY, Border Collie. A very good round from this team only minor errors in all exercises. Nice neat handling. Congratulations on your win.

2ND MIA BOSSCHAART with MAMAMIA’S TYKE, Working Sheepdog. Good heelwork, just a little loose on some turns. Finished with a good scent. Well done.

3RD PLEUN v.d. STER with THISISBLIZZ Of ALBION’S MARCH, Border Collie. Good heelwork, although the dog had a tendency to walk on when given a position and was messy on the pick-ups, sort this out and you will have a very good future.

4TH BIANCA v.d. POST with GENEROUS Genial GINNY, Australian Kelpie.
Nice round of heelwork but missed a position in DC and had a messy retrieve.

5TH LENIE KASTELEIJN with COLLIEWOOD Caballe “LA LAYIA”, Working Sheepdog. A little loose in slow pace and a missed position in DC were the main faults today.

6TH RICK v. VEEREN with SEALIGHT FLASH OF LIGHTENING, Border Collie. A little loose in heelwork today and a missed position together with movement on return in DC was costly

7TH MELISIA, sorry I don’t have any further details of this team. ASSD was very costly for this team. Also lost marks for the extra command on sendaway and anticipation in retrieve.
