My thanks to Rick for the invitation to Judge at your show, organised on behalf of the Dutch Obedience Society. Sue and I were well looked after by Rick and John in their very comfortable home and had an enjoyable weekend. The show was held inside at the Dog Centre with very spacious rings. There is always a very good atmosphere at the shows with all competitors appearing to enjoy the day and working their dogs.  My thanks also to my stewards Ellen and Paul for Novice and Steven and Bennie for class B who all did an excellent job.

Novice

1ST Bernou ter Voorde with NAMASTE HOPE,  Border Collie.    A very good round with few errors heel on lead. A little wide at times Heel free, even so very neat work. Shuffled on present on recall and slightly anticipated the finish on retrieve, but overall a neat performance. Very well handled. Well done and congratulations on your win.

2ND    Christina Decuypere with JIPSINGER KAIPO, Australian Shepherd.    Put in a creditable round of heelwork just had a tendency to go wide at times and a little lazy on some left turns. Very good recall, only a slight crooked present and a clear retrieve.  Well done on your place.

3RD   Mijam va den Broek with Z JOE Border Collie Very good heel on lead but a little loose heel free with one bad about turn. Just a crooked finish on recall and crooked present on retrieve.
4TH    Martin Brouwer with BEST JIMMY OF CLOVER CORNER, Border Collie.  A little loose in heelwork at times especially on left turns and was unsure of what he had to do on halts. Crooked finishes on both recall and retrieve.

5TH  Marie-Christine Vanuxem with TAO THE TWO FACED DOG, Working Sheepdog.   Good Heelwork again needs attention on left turns. Was left in the down for recall but lifted and then sat up before he was called, sort this and he will be a lot further up the line up.

6TH  Ester Brouwer with BEST MIGHTY MIKE OF CLOVERS CORNER, Border Collie.  Needs to tighten up in heelwork especially on turns. Both presents and finishes were messy on recall and retrieve.

CLASS B

1ST  Cees Groen with NICE OF YOU TO COME BYE KEEN KITE,  Border Collie.  A good round from this team, a little lazy on left Turns and didn’t sit on the halt at slow pace. Well done on your win.

2ND    Rick van Veeren with SEALIGHT IT’S A MAGIC MIRICLE, Border Collie.      Another good round from this team although a little loose in heelwork at times and lazy on left turns.  Scent was costly today. Well done.

3RD  Jose Flierman with NICE OF YOU TO COME BYE BE CLEVER,  Border Collie.  A little Loose in heelwork today, had a tendency to drift off your leg.
A good sendaway and scent.

4TH  Davy Alliet with FOUZY WOUZY FROM IMKES FRIENDS, Border Collie.
Nice normal and fast pace but slow lost most of the heel marks, was lazy on left turns and tended to drop back. Sendaway and retrieve were also costly today. Ended with a good scent.

5TH   Jenke Labots with JOYFUL STEPPING VAN BENVENIDA’S JOY, Border Collie.   Normal and slow paces were good but very loose in fast pace and didn’t sit at the halt, which was costly.  Had a good retrieve and scent.

6TH  Rose Dewulf with BEKKIS YOURS FAITHFULLY, Border Collie. Needs to tighten up in heelwork and had a messy Sendaway .
