Steward Class C Hans Bilius

Thank you to the Dutch Obedience Society for the invitation. Always a pleasure since the trend over the years has been towards having motivated dogs who are trained using positive reinforcement. A real pleasure seeing dogs well motivated and handlers prepared to take time to build them up. The weather was very good even had to put sun protector on this early in April. The ring was a good size and accomadated both my rounds well. Thanks to both Peter and Hans for stewarding and Paul on score board all carried out your duties very well.

Results

Test B

1st Anne Marie Ibelings “Absolutely Fabulous Phoebe”. WSD. A very nice round with good set exercises.

2nd Jenke Labots “Joyful Stepping v Benvenida’s Joy”. B.C. A good round with retrieve taking a lot of the marks. Heelwork needs to mature

3rd Marianne v.d Ster “Amasing Yoda of Albions” March B.C Good stylish heelwork with slight tendency to go forward. The sendaway pick up was creative but lost marks.

4th Jose Flierman “Nice of you to come bye be clever” B.C Heelwork needs to be tighter and points lost on retrieve. A good sendaway and scent to finish.

5th Cees Groen “Nice of you to come bye Keen Kite” B.C A solid round but more finesse required on the heelwork position.

6th Rose Dewulf “Bekkis Yours Faithfully” B.C. Marks lost on all exercises. More commitment needed on retrieve and sendaway.

Test C

1st Guss Scholten “Colliewood Velazquez Giovanni” WSD. A super dog who has been trained to perfection and Guss handles in such a straight forward manner. Super style and commitment from the dog to produce a super round of obedience. A little bit of tightening up on the heelwork required which Guss was aware of but worth doing to get that third ticket and make him into a well deserved champion.

2nd Annelies v.d Velde “Twinkle Laddy Boy” WSD A dog of all power with an impeccable heelwork position. He is really very lovely Annelies and coming into his own now. Positions on the move taking most marks since he really wants to keep going. Lovely to watch. You handle well but were slightly more fluid with Luka who is also coming on very well.

3rd Henk Eekman “Borders for joy Freedom of Faith” B.C A number of inaccuracies on heelwork which needs some refinement. I would have preferred more commitment on the sendaway.

4th Pleun v.d Ster “ Thisisblizz of Albions March” B.C This is a much improved dog who Pleun has worked hard on and is now seeing the rewards. The missed position on DC was unfortunate. Keep working on the heelwork and you could be at the other end of the line up.

5th Mia Bosschaart “Mamamia’s Tyke” WSD Good set exercises the heelwork was a bit loose for me which led to a high lost of marks.

6th Tiny Bouchaut “Twinkles Kathmick” WSD Marks lost across the test with more refinement required on the heelwork position but nice and keen.
