Thank you to Rick for the invitation to judge at your show.
This was my second time judging in Holland, the first being at the
Championships in 2014. A huge thank you must go to Rick and John for their
wonderful hospitality and for giving Lou and myself a tour of the Storks and a
chance to see a little bit of Holland.
Thank you’s must also go to my Novice Steward, Melissa, you
did a lovely job and also to Hans who was as perfect as always. Thank you also
to my scoreboarders, Ellen and Monique, both efficient and professional and
also to Martin and Esther for the use of their lovely facilities and
refreshments.

No of entries 2
1st Place Anouk
Van Galen and Alba Nuadh Pinks Ticket To Trouble – Sushi (NSDTR) A worthy
winner with lovely heelwork, just a little drifting on accasions. Did have a
slight worry in stays towards the end when she spotted something through the
window which was scary and although marked still kept her in first place. Well
done
2nd Place Natasha
Peitz and Frida – Frieda (Rhodesian Ridgeback) Nice attitude in heelwork but
anticipation in the recall was their downfall today.

Ring Steward: Hans Bilius Table Scribe: Ellen Reijenga
No of entries 8 – I was unable to award first place today,
only 4 dogs did stays and each broke in one way or another
2nd Place Brigitta
v Oevelen and Tougher Than The Rest Of Free Spirit – Jake (ASD). Although at
times this lovely big dog can hold a super position he seemed to be unable to
maintain it for long stretches which through him off most of his turns.
3rd Place Anouk
Van Galen and Alba Nuadh Pinks Ticket To Trouble – Sushi (NSDTR) ARO didn’t
quite hold the position and commitment she had to win her pre beginners
4th Place Brigitta
v Oevelen and Red red red of Free Spirit – Spark (ASD) ARO held a more
committed position than Brigitta’s other dog but recall was very expensive
5th Place Natasha
Peitz and Frida – Frieda (Rhodesian Ridgeback) again not as committed as your
Pre Beginners round but well done on this place.

No of entries 21. I had some lovely committed dogs in this
class but 14 of them trained.
1st Place Bernou Ter Voorde and Whitemoorborders Moon –
Twinkle (BC) A lovely attitude from this dag, her fault being her enthusiasm
which caused her some jumping and a little wiggling as she tried to maintain
her position. A worthy winner.
2nd Place Yvonne
Boschung and Melezza Rivers Inctedible Ilay – Melezza (Chesapeake Bay
Retriever) this big dog worked a lovely committed round, just unfortunate to
meet the above today
3rd Place Danielle
Boschung and Eoras Baccara Red Rose – Baccara (Cattle Dog) a lovely neat round
just a little drifting out of position which was costly
4th Place Danielle
Boschung and Wild Willows Kenai Red Kuruk – Kuruk (Cattle Dog) Kuluk had a
tendency to loose position in heelwork. Tighten this up and he will be higher
in the places
5th Place Gerard
Rietjens and Song Of Sky You’ll Be In My Heart – Skye (BC) Unfortunately Skye
didn’t do a present on the recall but well done on your other exercises
6th Place Sandra
Pierson and Wendevick My Hero Myroh – Myroh (BC) Myroh anticipated the recall
and Sandra has a tendency to slow down on your about turns, keeping these at
normal pace and it would have been a lovely round

Ring Steward: Hans Bilius Table Scribe: Ellen Reijenga
No of entries 12
1st Place Monique
Basten and Zeno Joys Shadow Van Loils Bosslag – Zeno (BC) held a lovely
position but something startled him outside the ring which caused him to loose
concentration in slow pace and also in the sendaway, however well done on your
win
2nd Place Sandra
Noh and Darjeelings Onyx – Nox (BC) nice heelwork and set exercises but a messy
scent and broken stays
3rd Place Ton
Van Santen and Clan Of Storks Jaguar – Troy (Bearded Collie) gave little away
in his heelwork but scent and sendaway was costly
